i'd like to add support for plugins to nc6. in this way, we could easily
develop plugins to add support for upper layer protocols (such as telnel)
to nc6. what do you think about this? IMHO this would be very cool...

yes. but the original nc had an option for simple portscanning (-z).
should we support this too?
