well, to tell the truth i perfectly know that the correct spelling is
suppress (not so hard to remember, as the italian for "suppress" is
"sopprimere" again with the double p). it's only that at 1am sometimes i
do weird errors when developing... ;-)

IMVHO the internationalization is not a very interesting feature for a
software like nc6. it would be better to add other features instead, like
SSL support.
however, there is another project named GNU netcat (but the last time i
visited the GNU homepage this project was not listed there, and i suppose
they don't even know it exist) that is simply a complete rewrite of nc,
with internationalization support and other not very useful features.

the project goals and the development roadmap of GNU netcat are very
different from the nc6 ones.
