True - although I'm sure some people could argue for it. *shrug* I'm
not fussed for now, thats for sure.

Well - ours is a complete rewrite. Theirs they claim the 'alpha'
version was netcat1.10, and they seem to be trying hard at
compatibility (not always a very good idea IMHO).
I hadn't actually seen this before, but the code looks god-awful and
since it wont even compile on my machine (gives some very, very bizarre
assembler errors) I can't say much more than that!
I've always wondered what it takes to get called GNU blah - can you
just call it that and hope that they don't mind? Or do you have to
conform to their shameful coding standard?
I think we might have to start doing some serious promotion of our
version after the next major release ;-) Does someone feel like
putting together a simple webpage?
