It's up and running since beginning....

$ cvs -d :pserver:anonymous at cvs.deepspace6.net:/ds6/cvs login
Logging in to :pserver:anonymous at cvs.deepspace6.net:2401/ds6/cvs
CVS password: 
$ cvs -d :pserver:anonymous at cvs.deepspace6.net:/ds6/cvs co nc6
cvs server: Updating nc6
U nc6/.cvsignore
U nc6/AUTHORS
U nc6/BUGS

.

you can type any password, it doesn't matter... 
but maybe it must be non-empty
