I'm all for merging it in.  I just like to keep larger changes in a 
branch so that people can have a look (and get prepared) before I 
plaster it over the HEAD.

But yeah....3 branches is kinda fun :-)  (Actually - does HEAD count as 
a branch, or is it just the trunk? ;-)  )
